The Palace at Washington Square is a 18-unit mixed-use condo building located at the heart of San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood.

The building is being built on the site of a former 56-foot high vacant movie theater at 1731 Powell St – known as “Palace” or “Pagoda” Theater. The project also included the extraction of the tunnel with machines for SF Central Subway Project. There were also some plans for building a new Muni Subway station, which didn’t go through.
